Murray Says after his win: “he played very big points, gasquet uses the angles very well which makes it tricky, I started to make my returns and fought it out to the end. I started to dictate points and began to start a positive run. It is great preperation for the Davis Cup in an atmosphere like that with him being the home favourite. It is always important to get a good positve start to the set where I didn't in the second, on the serve it was giving me trouble which made me slow it down. I wasn't under a lot of stress as I don't feel I have a lot of belief from the crowd because I have only just started on the indoor hard court. It was a great match and I look forward to the next”.
